Archon Lawrence named ACE Fellow

Archon Roswell Lawrence, Jr., Ph. D., of the Delta Psi Boule in Athens, GA has been named a Fellow of American Council on Education (ACE). The ACE Fellows Program prepares outstanding faculty, staff, and administrators of universities and colleges for senior leadership positions, such as chief executive officers, chief academic officers, and deans. Archon Lawrence is one of only thirty-six fellows selected from faculty and staff of these institutions of higher learning across the United States. He currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff for Finance and Administration at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, and he is the first employee of the University selected as an ACE Fellow since 1990. While completing his customized ACE Fellowship Program, Archon Lawrence will have the opportunity to work alongside university presidents and other senior university administrators at other institutions as they conduct day-to-day leadership and administrative duties. He will also complete special projects and assignments under the mentorship of experienced campus and system leaders. At the end of the program, Archon Lawrence will return to the University of Georgia to apply the skills learned in the Fellows Program.​
