Archon Montez Carter
Montez Carter, PharmD, FACHE, named President and CEO of Trinity Health Of New England, September 12, 2022
Archon Montez Carter, PharmD, FACHE, has been named President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Health Of New England, effective October 3. Archon Carter succeeds Reginald J. Eadie, M.D., MBA, who has held the top leadership role at Trinity Health Of New England since 2018 and will go on to serve as Senior Vice President of Physician Enterprise Development for Livonia, Michigan-based Trinity Health.
Archon Carter began his career as a pharmacist, later transitioning to hospital leadership. He joined St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia, in 2010 as Vice President of Operations. He later served as President of St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro and President of St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, before his most recent position as President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Mary’s Health Care System, which includes three hospitals, a medical group, home health care/hospice agency, outpatient facilities and a retirement community. Carter was tapped to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Health Of New England following a nationwide search and a unanimous vote of the Board of Director’s selection committee.
